Industrial parts washer in stainless steel with front loading and a sliding loading platform

What is an industrial parts washer?

An industrial parts washer cleans and degreases parts automatically in an enclosed cabinet, with heated water and a cleaning fluid that is filtered and reused. Phibo Industries supplies, installs and services these machines, and delivers the cleaners, the additives and the spare parts to go with them.

What you get at Phibo

  • The full specifications for every model, down to the connection values
  • A Belgian specialist in surface technology, active since 1988
  • A call from us before the quotation, so the proposal is right the first time
  • Delivery, installation, commissioning and training for your operators
  • Maintenance, spare parts and a maintenance service contract, directly from Phibo
  • The matching cleaners and process fluids supplied with the machine
  • From a standard machine to a custom build, all with one point of contact

Which type of industrial parts washer suits your parts?

Nine types, each with its own page. There you find the models with their full specifications, down to the connection values.

No standard machine that fits?

Unusual dimensions, a specific process or integration into an existing line: our product and project engineering works out a custom solution. Washing, rinsing, phosphating, passivation, lubricating and drying are combined in it as your process requires, loaded manually or automatically, up to robot loading.

Discuss your process

How do you determine the right configuration?

  • The dimensions and the weight of your largest part
  • The material: steel, cast iron, aluminium, copper, brass or plastic
  • The contamination: oil, grease, chips, soil, soot or resin residue
  • The number of parts per day or per hour
  • What happens after cleaning: assembly, measuring, coating or bonding

With those five details we can determine the type that suits your parts and send you a price indication.

Why buy from Phibo

You buy from a surface technology specialist

Phibo Industries has worked in surface technology and industrial cleaning since 1988, from cleaning and degreasing to blasting and surface treatment. That experience sits behind this range as well, and behind the advice you get with it.

We call you before you decide

Send us your application and we go through it with you on the phone: your parts, your contamination and your volumes per day. That way you know which model fits and which options make sense, with the connection values alongside. The full specifications are on this page, so you go into that conversation already prepared.

Your workshop is never down for long

You arrange maintenance, repairs and spare parts directly with Phibo. With a maintenance service contract your machine is inspected every year, safety included, so that you avoid downtime.

You only have one number to call

The machine, the cleaners and additives, the spare parts and the maintenance: everything comes from Phibo. One partner, from the first conversation to the last spare part.

From request to a running machine

Four steps. You decide how far you go before you commit.

Send us your specifications

You give us the dimensions and the weight of your parts, the material, the contamination and the number of parts per day. A photo of a dirty part often says enough on its own.

We call you

After your request we contact you by telephone and go through exactly what you clean. That way everything is right before a quotation is drawn up, and it saves a round of back-and-forth.

Machine proposal and price

You receive a proposal with the models that suit your parts, the options that make sense for your process and the connection values. For a standard machine the price is included straight away. Without obligation.

Delivery, installation and commissioning

We deliver, install and commission the machine, determine the right cleaning product together with you and train your operators. The machine is handed over to you with CE marking.

Frequently asked questions

Which parts washer suits my parts?
That depends on four things: the dimensions and the weight of your largest part, the material, the contamination and the number of parts per day. Small to medium-sized parts go to a top loader. Heavy or bulky parts go to a front loader. If there are blind holes or fine channels in them, it becomes an industrial ultrasonic cleaner. And with continuous supply you are looking at a conveyor washer. Send us those four details and you get a concrete proposal back.
What is the difference between a top loader and a front loader?
With a top loader you place the parts into the rotating basket from above. That is compact and less expensive, and works up to 450 kg. With a front loader the basket slides out through the front door, so that you can load heavy parts with a crane or forklift. The standard range goes up to 850 kg there. If your load is heavier, that points to an immersion parts washer or to a custom build.
Do these machines also clean plastic and aluminium?
The difference is in the cleaning product and in the temperature, not in the machine itself. For aluminium we use a non-aggressive cleaner, for example. If you are unsure about a material, we talk through which product and which temperature suit it.
How much water and energy does such a machine use?
Water: you fill the tank once and after that you only top up what evaporates. A top loader has a tank of 60 to 200 liters, a front loader 300 to 400 liters. Power: the consumption sits almost entirely in the heating, from 4.5 kW on the smallest top loader to 22.5 kW on the largest front loader, and at full power only while it heats up. The value per model is in the specification table.
What if no standard machine fits?
No standard machine that fits? Then we engineer one. Unusual dimensions, a specific process or integration into an existing line: our product and project engineering works that out, after a feasibility study of your application.
Which cleaner or additive do I use in this machine?
We supply the cleaner with the machine, because it helps determine the result. Phibo has its own range of water-based cleaners and additives, from corrosion-inhibiting cleaners to defoamers. We choose the product and the dosage that suit your parts together with you, based on your contamination and the material of your parts.
What happens after I send a request?
We call you. Before we work out a quotation, we go through your parts, your contamination and your volumes together, so that the proposal is right straight away. So you get a real conversation with someone who knows the machines, and not an automatic e-mail with a brochure.
Is the machine CE compliant, and does it have to be inspected every year?
You receive the machine with CE marking, with a declaration of conformity and a manual. An annual inspection keeps the installation safe and reliable. You can arrange that with us in a maintenance service contract, together with the periodic maintenance.
What happens after delivery?
Phibo remains your point of contact. After commissioning and the training of your operators you can cover what follows in a maintenance service contract, so that your installation is inspected periodically and keeps running as it did on day one. We match what goes into your contract to your machine and to how intensively you use it. We put that on paper together with the quotation.
How does it work for service and spare parts?
You arrange maintenance, repairs and overhauls directly with Phibo, and the spare parts as well. For parts that are not in stock, you receive a lead time straight away.
What warranty do I get, and what is the delivery time?
You get one year of warranty, on every machine. The delivery time depends on the installation you choose and is therefore always stated in your quotation.
Is the training of our operators included in the price?
Yes. On delivery and commissioning we train your operators, and that is included in the price. That way everyone who works with the machine knows how to operate and maintain it.

The right cleaner is part of it

A parts washer only pays off fully with the right product in the tank. Phibo supplies the cleaners and additives itself and chooses with you the product that suits your contamination and the material of your parts.

We stay involved after commissioning

We offer maintenance service contracts that keep your installation supported: periodic inspection, timely replacement of wear parts and a fixed point of contact at Phibo. That keeps the machine running as it did on day one.
